Why did you choose to attend UAF?
It's my hometown school and close to my home.
What do you like best about UAF?
It has that small school feel but you are still always meeting new people.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like hockey, soccer, running, biking and shopping! I also enjoy being outside and campus in the summer.
What extracurricular activities are you a part of?
Organization of Student Social Workers (OSSW), UAF Women's Ice Hockey and Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
What is one piece of advice you would give to a prospective student interested in UAF?
Join OSSW and get to know your professors and classmates.
What "field work" have you done at UAF that will help you find work in your major?
Volunteer work through OSSW. Also, my senior year practicum will help me make connections with agencies.
What do you hope to do after you graduate?
I hope to get a job working in family services or child welfare and eventually go on to grad school to get my MSW.
Anything you'd like to add about yourself?
I love to try new things. This past summer I went skydiving!
