A bit about me:
I am an accounting major from a small town, and I really enjoy sharing experiences with others. Also, soccer is a large part of my life as well as other sports.
Why did you choose to attend UAF?
I chose UAF because the experiences my siblings had here were so interesting and exciting I thought it was a prime choice.
What do you like best about UAF?
My favorite thing about UAF is the community and student involvement on campus.
What do you like to do in your spare time? What extracurricular activities are you a part of?
I am a pretty big gamer, but that doesn't stop me from playing intramural sports and attending student events on campus.
What is one piece of advice you would give to a prospective student interested in UAF?
On the first day when all your unpacking is done, go out and walk around. Greet everyone you meet and see with a smile and introduce yourself. Involvement is about stepping out and meeting people.
What "field work" have you done at UAF that will help you find work in your major?
Career Services on campus runs a program in the fall called accounting recruitment week were local fims come to interview students for internships.
What do you hope to do after you graduate?
Work as a CPA for a local firm in Fairbanks and use the resources and experiences I have gained at UAF to better my community.
If you could live anywhere else in the world, where would it be?
Germany!
