Why did you choose to attend UAF?
It was in state and I knew some other people who would be attending as well as some of the teachers here.
What do you like best about UAF?
I like that the UAF campus is somewhat apart from the city of Fairbanks. It feels like it's own little town. I believe there is a good family atmosphere here; everyone can feel connected in some way.
What extracurricular activities are you a part of?
Rotaract club and Student Ambassadors
What is one piece of advice you would give to a prospective student interested in UAF?
The winters really aren't as that bad. A good quality jacket and some under layers are all the extra clothing you really need to bring. Big puffy parkas are unneccessary.
What "field work" have you done at UAF that will help you find work in your major?
I have observed music teachers in their schools and also taught at the Summer Music Academy here in Fairbanks.
What do you hope to do after you graduate?
Ride my bicycle from San Francisco to New York and live there for a few years.
Anything you'd like to add about yourself?
I was an exchange student to South America in high-school and love to talk about traveling and learning new things.
