What do you like to do in your spare time?

Dance, cook, watch movies, travel, hang out with friends and family, and go shopping... : )

Why did you choose to attend UAF?

The excellent business program, with its additional accreditation through the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, was very intriguing, and the rather affordable tuition really helps.

What do you like best about UAF?

UAF has a excellent student/professor ratio and friendly atmosphere of a smaller university, while offering the student services, organizations, and opportunities of a larger university. UAF offers the perfect combination.

What extracurricular activities are you a part of?

I work at UAF’s Career Services office, was involved with New Student Orientation and am interested in joining some of the other many organizations at UAF, such as (ASB) Associated Students of Business or (SIFE) Students in Free Enterprise.

What is one piece of advice you would give to a prospective student interested in UAF?

Form a good relationship with the faculty and staff at UAF. They are very open to helping students in any way possible. Additionally, get involved! I cannot emphasize this enough, as getting involved in some of the many organizations at UAF offers the chance to meet awesome people, have fun, learn and grow from experiences.

What do you hope to do after you graduate?

Eventually I would really like to go to graduate school to work towards an MBA; however, I’m also very interested in starting a career in marketing or advertising.
