Why did you choose to attend UAF?
UAF is close to home. It is the perfect way to feel involved and connected internationally and yet still in the place I love best.
What do you like best about UAF?
UAF has a connection that feels global, yet the sense of a community is strong.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to sing and play guitar, dance with my friends and enjoy Alaska’s landscape, and star-gazing.
What extracurricular activities are you a part of?
I was Alaska Junior Miss 2009 which involves much volunteerism. I also enjoy dance classes.
What is one piece of advice you would give to a prospective student interested in UAF?
There are so many opportunities to be involved politically here at UAF. There is just the right amount of students for you to take advantage of all opportunities.
What "field work" have you done at UAF that will help you find work in your major?
Being an ambassador and sharing my Junior Miss experience has prepared and helped me connect with people.
What do you hope to do after you graduate?
I hope to travel and experience the world, and see where my journey takes me.

I cannot wait to share my experiences with new students.
