A bit about me:

I am in my third year and 23 years old. I am an Army wife and majoring in Child Development and Family Studies.

Why did you choose to attend UAF?

The biggest reason was it was the closest university to me since I had to move up here with my husband, but also it seemed like a great college.

What do you like best about UAF?

My favorite thing about UAF is the classrooms and teachers. They are great and really want you to succeed.

What do you like to do in your spare time? What extracurricular activities are you a part of?

In my spare time I work part-time as a preschool teacher's assistant. My extracurricular activities include student ambassadors.

What is one piece of advice you would give to a prospective student interested in UAF?

Bring a jacket and sturdy boots!

What "field work" have you done at UAF that will help you find work in your major?

I work at a local preschool.

What do you hope to do after you graduate?

I hope to become a director of a child care facility and run a child care program.

If you could live anywhere else in the world, where would it be?

California
