Close to home, but far enough away to be on my own, a new experience

What is one piece of advice you would give to a prospective student interested in engineering at UAF?
Get involved in the
student clubs. You will learn the most about Engineering through your teammates.
What "field work" have you done at UAF that will help you find work in your major?
Being involved in Society of Women Engineers allows me to communicate with a huge variety of people and develop connections across the state.
What do you hope to do after you graduate?
Work for Army Corps of Engineers or Schlumberger eventually go into politics within the state.
