UAF Alumnus newsletter
You will receive the UAF Alumnus newsletter, which is full of information about alumni programs, campus activities and the class notes keep you up to date on what is happening with your fellow alumni.

Discounted tickets to Nanook sport events
Active Alumni Association members receive a discount of $2 on admission to all UAF men's and women's basketball and women's volleyball games at the Patty Center.

Discount at UAF Bookstore
Check out the new alumni merchandise and take advantage of special savings such as book, clothing and reunion sales. Receive a 10 percent discount on all UAF logo clothing and merchandise at the UAF bookstore. Available at the store, through the catalog or via their website store: http://bookstore.uaf.edu.

Outdoor Adventures Program
Take advantage of student rates for association members on trips throughout Alaska when booked through the UAF Outdoor Adventures program.

Wood Center facilities
All active UAF alumni have access to the Wood Center, the Pub, bowling alley, showers and laundry facility. Alumni can rent outdoor recreation equipment through the Outdoor Adventures program.

Theatre UAF tickets
Theatre UAF offers alumni ticket prices for all their performances. For ticket information contact the UAF Theatre Department at (907) 474-7751.

Student Recreation Center
Active UAF Alumni Association members receive a 50 percent discount on Student Recreation Center fees. The SRC offers top quality recreational facilities and programs, including a weight room, basketball courts, climbing wall, sauna and an indoor running track. Membership includes access to the Patty Center swimming pool.
Note: Recreational facilities at UAA in Anchorage also offer a discount to UAFAA members.

University of Alaska Library system
All alumni may use the university libraries on all campuses. Alumni who live in Fairbanks can acquire a Noel Wien Public Library Card and use that to check out materials at Rasmuson and BioScience Libraries. Access to many reference sources is available through the Rasmuson Library website: http://library.uaf.edu.

Career Services
All UAF alumni are encouraged to use the counseling and job search assistance programs available through the UAF Career Services Office. Call (907) 474-7596. The UAF Job Hotline is available to alumni. Call (907) 474-6206. Network with other alumni to answer job-related questions, research potential jobs and seek career advice through the Alumni Association's Alumni Mentor Program.

Tuition waivers and scholarships
Students who are children of an alumnus who graduated from the University of Alaska Fairbanks are eligible for a non-resident tuition waiver. Scholarships are available for children of alumni and grandchildren of alumni attending UAF.

UAF alumni merchandise
The Alumni Office sells Alumni merchandise including UAF diploma frames and coffee mugs. UAF signet rings are also available by special order. Contact UAFAA for information.

Discount at the UA Museum of the North
Active UAF alumni visiting the UA Museum of the North can receive a 10 percent discount on admission. Show your UAFAA membership card for discount.

Discount at the Large Animal Research Station
Active UAF alumni visiting the University of Alaska Fairbanks Robert G. White Large Animal Research Station receive a 30 percent discount on admission and 20 percent discount on items in the gift shop. Show your UAFAA membership card for discount.
