We invite you to volunteer as a recruiting partner with the UAF Admissions Office and Rural Student Services. In our efforts to recruit top-quality students, alumni volunteers are needed to contact prospective students in their local area to discuss the benefits of attending UAF. Alumni also attend college fairs throughout the country on behalf of UAF.

The alumni benefactor program is an annual fundraising event to underwrite student-related projects on campus such as new furniture for the Wood Center student commons, equipment for student activities, and sponsorship of concerts, sports and performing arts events. We believe it's important for students and alumni to interact throughout their time at UAF. We invite you to get involved in events such as the graduation celebration for seniors, new-student and -parent orientation, Starvation Gulch, Winter Carnival and the Career Expo, as well as community events like the Brice Gold Rush hockey tournament and the North Star Invitational Women’s basketball tournament. Your help will ensure an early connection with students, our future alumni, while they're here.

Join Career Services' support of our students by serving as a mentor or inviting a student to participate in a job-shadowing experience. You'll be providing an opportunity for career exploration and networking.
