General Interest Area: Fields of interest at the undergraduate level include research, biological perspectives, and multicultural/diversity perspectives. A the graduate level the focus is on community and clinical psychology with a rural and indigenous focus. |

Plan of Study: With the goal of achieving a breadth and depth of psychology, student can attain a B.A. or B.S. by taking courses which include introduction to psychology, research methods, child and adolescent development and other courses representing biological, social, and multicultural and diversity perspectives. |

How to get Involved: Stop by or contact the Psychology departmental office for more information, questions, or to help decide if psychology is right for you. |

Career and Graduate Possibilites: Students receiving an undergraduate degree in psychology can go on to pursue careers in any number of fields including counseling, education, law, and medicine. Student receiving a graduate degree in community psychology can go on to careers in research, teaching, consulting, program and policy development, community intervention, counseling, psychological assessments, therapy and clinical services. |
