General Interest Area: Visual Arts including these concentration areas: Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, Ceramics, Native Art, Sculpture, Metalsmithing and Computer Art. |

High School Background: Some experience in any of the above fields is desired but not necessary. |

Plan of Study: University core courses and selected electives. Art students take a core of foundation art courses:Beginning Drawing, Painting, Color and Design, 2-D or 3-D Design, Sculpture, Art History and a selection of classes in a concentration with a secondary and sometimes a tertiary area. The BFA program is applied for at the junior year and requires more art history and studio art courses but does NOT have a minor required. |
