MEET OUR ADVISORS: CINDY HARDY

Cindy has advised with us since 1998. She is an Assistant Professor of Developmental Studies/English and Women's Studies. She teaches English classes, coordinates Developmental English courses and works closely with the coordinator for Developmental Math. She can help answer questions on preparatory/developmental courses, the English Department or a variety of other areas.

She says:

"I come to advising as a long time teacher and as an alumni of UAF.  I have gone to school as a single, working mother and now have a son in college, so I'm very aware of the stresses that those returning to college face, as well as the pressures on the first-time college student who is making decisions that may affect his or her life for years to come."
