 Scholarships have been created specifically for UAF students by many generous donors. Contributions can be made to any existing scholarship or a new one can be created following the guidelines below under "How to set up a scholarship". How to apply for a scholarship
Most of these scholarships are awarded annually and can be applied for using the Supplement for Scholarships Application . The application deadline for most scholarships is Feb. 15. (Please see the application for the actual deadline each year, it is adjusted for years where Feb. 15 falls on a weekend.) For more information, contact the Scholarship Coordinator in the UAF Financial Aid office at (907) 474-5372.
If you have been awarded a scholarship and wish to send an acknowledgement to the donor(s), you can access our online thank-you form or send a hard copy to:

Donations may be made to most of the scholarships listed, or new named scholarships may be set up (PDF) at certain levels. A new scholarship may be set up to honor, or as a memorial to, a friend or loved one, or in the name of an organization. Donors can select criteria for determining who is eligible for their scholarship, including the recipient's major, class, residency and ethnicity. The annual UAF Scholarship Breakfast honors donors and scholarship recipients.
