Fairbanks Shakespeare Theatre

In cooperation with UAF's Summer Sessions, the Fairbanks Shakespeare Theatre company presented "Much Ado About Nothing" at its outdoor venue on the Fairbanks campus. Shannon Luster (left), an alumnus of the UAF theatre department, played the role of Dogberry. Jon-Keifer Brown (right) played the role of George Seacoal.

Summer Sessions

UAF Summer Sessions offers a wide variety of academic opportunities to residents and visitors. Courses are open to undergraduate and graduate degree-seeking students, community members and qualifying high school students. Many courses in the baccalaureate core are available. Summer courses are compressed, enabling students to focus on fewer classes at a time. Summer Sessions hosts the Alaska Advanced Placement Institute each June for middle and high school teachers of AP and pre-AP courses. Year-round projects include the Alaska Discovery Workshops, with half- or full-day tours highlighting UAF campus and research. Summer Sessions gives in-state tuition for everyone!
