John Murphy
John Murphy is a recent graduate from Stanford University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He started working with ACEP in 2008 when he produced a Greenhouse Gas Inventory for the Fairbanks North Star Borough. This summer he will be working with ACEP and industry partners on reviewing energy storage options for Alaskan communities with excess wind resources. He will also be involved in a heat flow analysis of the FNSB, quantifying the resource potential for geothermal applications. After growing up in Eagle River, John is glad to be spending the summer back in his home state.
