Curriculum Vita
Kimberley moved to Alaska in 1998 after graduating from Boston College with a B.S. in Biology. She spent her first year in Fairbanks working for the Interior Center for Non-violent Living before returning to the sciences. She spent two years as an Americorps*VISTA at the Alaska Boreal Forest Council where she facilitated forest education programs. In spring of 2005, she finished her master’s at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) in Natural Resource Management and is currently pursuing her PhD in Natural Resource Management through UAF's IGERT RAP program. As a graduate student, Kimberley has been very active in natural resource education outreach through a number of different venues. She has also served on the Fairbanks Arbor Day Committee for the past six years. In her free time, she enjoys getting outside with her dog Oban (either hiking in the summer or skijoring in the winter), creating culinary delights, or getting her hands into clay in the ceramics studio.
