PRESENTATION:  Trango and Latok Expedition Slideshow
A special two-part presentation by Sam Johnson, a new member of the Fairbanks climbing community with decades of world-wide climbing experience.
Thurs, Dec 11th 7pm Schaible Auditorium, Bunnell Bldg, UAF

The show will focus on new route[s] in the Trango Towers of Pakistan, and an attempt of Latok II [also in the Karakoram Range]. Latok II has aptly been described as "El Cap resting on top of Denali."

He is sure to show some mind-expanding mountain imagery.

This function will serve as the AAC's holiday gathering.
There is no excuse to miss this show!
Students:  You know you'll need a breather before finals week!
Find a partner for ice-climbing over the break.
AAC T-shirts and patches make great Christmas presents.

OCTOBER

PRESENTATION: Oct 16 7pm WOOD CENTER BALLROOM
Hank and Marla Statscewich took several years off from their jobs in Fairbanks to tour the world in search of fine cragging and powder turns.
This show will focus on rock climbing in Australia, NZ and elsewhere.
Take a night off from the rock-wall and attend their show.
They are good people to know, and I'm glad they are back for a while.
