US-VISIT is part of a continuum of security measures that begins overseas and continues through a visitor's arrival in and departure from the United States. It incorporates eligibility determinations made by both the Departments of Homeland Security and State. More information (this is an external link and will open in a new window).

For individuals requiring a Letter of Invitation to obtain a travel visa, please send the following information to the Conference Committee at ISTVS@uaf.edu so that we can then write an ISTVS Visa Invitation Letter for you.

1. Full name, same as the name in your passport
2. Job title
3. Company (Affiliation)
4. Full mailing address, including postcode and country
   
   

The Conference Committee is not able to contact U.S. Embassies in support of an individual attempting to gain entry to attend the ISTVS 2007 Conference in Alaska. We recommend that you start the visa application process as soon as possible.
