Human Services
Description:
The program leads to an Associates in Applied Sciences Degree in Human Services. Students are prepared for entry-level positions in Human Service Agencies.
General Interest Area:
Working with people in a variety of helping settings.
High School Background:
Courses in Psychology, Sociology, and participation in peer mediation or peer counseling will be helpful.
Plan of Study:
This is a 60 credit hour degree with 18 credits of core requirements and 42 credits within the major.

Career and Graduate Possibilites:
Many students in this degree program become Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor Technicians. Others move into a B.A/B.S. degree program in Social Work Psychology or Criminal Justice
